Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to all apps and services developed by Curtis Clements, operating as The Wandering Dev. It describes what information is (and is not) collected, how it is used, and your rights as a user.
Information We Collect
In general, we do not collect personal information. The apps listed below store data locally on your device only, and that data never leaves your device unless noted.
PRIZLES (prizles.com, iOS, Android)
PRIZLES does not require an account and does not collect or transmit any personal data. Puzzle progress, streaks, and statistics are stored locally on your device. The web version uses your browser’s local storage for this purpose. No analytics, no tracking. The optional Prizles Premium subscription, and any other in-app purchase, is handled entirely by Apple or Google, which do not share your payment details with us.
Biblical Hebrew Vocabulary (iOS, Android)
This app operates entirely offline. All study progress, spaced repetition data, and settings are stored locally on your device. No personal data is collected, transmitted, or shared.
Biblical Greek Vocabulary (iOS, Android)
This app operates entirely offline. All study progress, spaced repetition data, and settings are stored locally on your device. No personal data is collected, transmitted, or shared.
Biblical Aramaic Vocabulary (Android)
This app operates entirely offline. All study progress, spaced repetition data, review lists, and settings are stored locally on your device. No personal data is collected, transmitted, or shared. The optional daily study reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device; nothing is sent to any server.
Bench — Aspect (iOS, Android), Band Plan (iOS, Android; the iOS app is named Band Plan & GROL Exam Prep), GROL Exam Prep (Android)
These apps collect nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no server to send anything to. Everything you enter — progress, saved calculations, bookmarks, study history — is stored on your device only, can be exported from Settings at any time, and can be deleted from the same screen. Each app works with no network connection; the only network traffic it can generate is the store’s own, when you buy or restore a purchase. Purchases are one-time and are handled entirely by Apple or Google, neither of which shares your payment details with us.
Raffle Draw and Scoreboard (Android)
There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no advertising identifiers. Names, scores, lists and settings are stored on your device. If you choose to open a live room or turn on live sharing, the contents of that room are sent to a relay so other people can see them, and are deleted automatically twelve hours after the last change. Room codes are short, so treat a live room as public and use first names or nicknames. Water Softener Buddy (iOS, Android)
Water Softener Buddy stores your softener details, salt log and maintenance history on your device. On iPhone and iPad it syncs through your own iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit. If you share a softener, the people you invite can see and edit that softener’s data, including the names attached to entries. We can’t see any of it. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no advertising identifiers. If you turn on calendar sync, reminders are written to a calendar on your device that you choose. The Android app has no internet permission. Backups and CSV exports are files you save yourself. The one-time Pro purchase is handled entirely by Apple or Google.
Advertising
None of the apps listed above contain advertising of any kind. No advertising SDK is present in any of them, and no advertising identifier is read or transmitted. If that ever changes for a future app, this policy will be updated before that app ships, and the app’s own store listing will declare it.
Third-Party Services
Our apps may integrate with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Apple App Store — governs purchases and device identifiers on iOS
- Google Play — governs purchases and account data on Android
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and the optional live-room relay used by Raffle Draw and Scoreboard
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through one of our apps, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
Data Security
Apart from the temporary live rooms described above, which are deleted automatically, we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, so there is no other server-side data to secure. Data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's own security features.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our apps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
